Non-Tech Way to Get Backlinks For New Website

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is really important to get traffic to your site. One of the best ways to increase your ranking is to get non-tech people to link to your site. There are several ways to do this.

If you are in an industry that you already know about or you are a close friend of someone who’s already doing this, ask them for a link. This means that you are not the only one who thinks your site is valuable enough to ask for links. score! You may even come up with a reciprocal if that is appropriate for your site.

Another way to get links from other sites is to join the Google or Yahoo Community. You may be a member of these two sites and even if you are not, you may be able to find a group that is interested in exchanging links. There will probably be a forum that is a good place to start. If you do join a community, it is important to read and be familiar with the rules of the community and the techniques that are used. You do not want to break a community guideline, misperceive the forums as legitimate links from the community, or be aggressive in asking for links. These questions are answered in numerous forums. If you are ever in doubt, get professional help. There are many companies who specialize in link building services.

One of the fastest ways to get links and traffic to your site is to have a blog on another site. While this method is not exactly traditional, it is very effective. Why? There are literally endless amounts of traffic to blogs. Also, when you have a blog somewhere on another site, it is a form of viral marketing. One of the easiest and fastest ways to create backlinks and traffic to your site is to comment on blogs that are directly related to your niche. These kinds of blogs are usually blogs of the same niche you are blogging about. To find these blogs, search Google: “your niche” + “blogspot” or “your niche” + “comments” (replace “your niche” with the name of your website). Just like with any other type of website, the more backlinks from related blogs the quicker you will get indexed.


You may also want to try forum marketing. Find a forum in your niche, and when posting your card, post your blog link in the signature line. This will create direct traffic to your blog and will get you indexed by Google. When you sign up for the forum, your main account will be your email address. Your Skype, Twitter or other social media profile will be your profile link. When making a new post, use your signature to incorporate your keywords. You will also need to have your ” About Me” section include your key words as well.

Social media marketing is the hottest thing on the internet. If you are trying to drive traffic to your site and get indexed by Google quickly, I strongly recommend that you submit your site to at least a few social media sites. Depending on your niche, you may be able to post to Facebook, Twitter or Digg. The more clicks you can get and the higher quality you can provide, the faster you will get indexed.

If you have a friend who’s blog is on the same niche, ask him to place your link on his blog. payoff big boy. You won’t know how long it takes for Google to crawl up on your link. You can also submit to Link Local, however it looks like Google is giving it little love at the moment. Since Google doesn’t know how to crawl our sites, it may take 6-8 weeks before your link appears.
