Work of The Senior Accounts Payable Clerk’s

The Senior Accounts Payable Clerk’s primary responsibilities will include

  • Processing invoices across the company’s branches,
  • Ensuring accuracy and approval,
  • Departmental reconciliation,
  • Managing payment runs, among other related tasks.

This role will be an essential part of the Accounts Payable team, and the individual’s responsibilities will expand as they gain confidence in their role.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a background in Accounts Payable, experience in financial tasks like

  • Cash handling and reconciliation,
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills,
  • Strong multitasking abilities,
  • Proficiency in a Windows Environment with advanced MS Excel skills,
  • Experience with paperless Accounts Payable systems.

The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, and candidates should be able to reliably commute or relocate to Chilliwack, BC, which is a required aspect of the job.
