What are The Roles of Branch Manager, Personal Insurance
The Role Involves:
- Managing all day-to-day team operations.
- Overseeing Personal Insurance operations in the branch to achieve growth and profitability targets.
- Implementing and monitoring objectives related to commission revenue, policy count, accounts receivable, and the quality of the books of business and expenses.
- Communicating, implementing, and monitoring strategies to ensure the attainment of goals and objectives.
- Collaborating with other Branch Managers to ensure that services and sales meet expected standards.
- Analyzing and resolving quality, customer service, and sales issues collaboratively to deliver on the Customer Value Proposition.
- Taking responsibility for overall staffing and team leadership, motivating staff to align with company objectives and keeping front-line staff informed of changes or new directions.
- Developing succession plans for key positions.
- Overseeing the general administration of the team, including IT, payroll, and human resource management, among other responsibilities.
Qualifications you Need To Become Branch Manager, Personal Insurance
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Post-secondary education.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong people management skills.
- Experience in both Personal and Commercial lines of insurance.
- An insurance designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or AIIC, RIBO, or AIC Level 2).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- The ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check, which is preferred.
